Menlo experienced a DNS routing issue that impacted a subset of customers across all regions at 2:46 AM 2020-10-14 Pacific Daylight Time, causing browsing failures. The issue was identified and the DNS routing was restored at 3:28 AM.

Operations was notified of health check failures in our Sao Paolo Service region. It appears to be an issue with the hosting provider. Operations is confirming that services have failed out of the region to the next nearest service region.

2020-10-10, 3:24 PM Pacific The Menlo service the Sao Paulo region automatically failed over to the next nearest service region due to network connectivity issues with the hosting provider between 2:26 PM and 3:03 PM. As a precaution, Menlo Security Operations has failed out the Sao Paulo region until an all-clear is provided by the hosting provider. A further update will be provided in 30 minutes.

2020-10-10, 3:45 PM Pacific The hosting provider has declared all-clear on the internet connectivity issues. Menlo Operations has restored DNS routing to the Sao Paulo region.
